Our little mess maker
In going through some older photos, I found this one that I never scrapbooked, but which needs to be recorded. She is our mess maker for sure! She's constantly getting into something! Sometimes it's paper & scissors, other times it's markers, paint, cottage cheese, lotion, baby powder, makeup, card games, water, dog food, pretty much anything. My husband just told me that he prefers the term, "Creative catastrophes." That's an apt description, for sure! Enjoy!

Primary Theme for April {Free Printable}
The Primary theme for April comes from the 6th Article of Faith and reads, "We believe in the same organization that existed in the primitive church." This means that we believe that since the church that Christ established when he lived on the earth had apostles, prophets, teachers, deacons, priests, etc, that His true church in modern days also has this same organization. I'm excited to be able to listen to our current prophet, Thomas S. Monson, and the apostles & other leaders of the church this weekend during General Conference!

Primary Theme for March 2015 {Free Printable}
The Primary scripture theme for March this year comes from Luke 1:70 - "He spake by the mouth of His holy prophets which have been since the world began." I know that Heavenly Father does still speak to us, and He does that through his prophet. I am really excited for our upcoming General Conference, where we will have the opportunity to listen to a prophet of God give counsel & teachings for our day. I hope you enjoy this free printable! Fishing Adventure
Since moving to Idaho we've had a good number of crazy fish stories. Last week we had another one. I went to the park with the girls in the morning & as we were leaving I noticed a fish truck & some guys dumping netfuls of huge fish into the pond. I assumed they were just suckers, or some other useless fish, but I rolled down my window & asked the guys what kind of fish they were. The reply, "Rainbows." I called my husband on the way home & told him about the giant fish & that it seemed like a good day for fishing.
We came back after he got home from work. Sharon immediately caught a huge one & she was so excited! It was a giant 5 pound rainbow.
My husband ended up catching two big ones, one of which was at least 22 inches long. He also caught a normal sized trout, which looked pretty piddly next to these monsters. I caught the smallest of the big ones, and it was still over 3 pounds. In all, with 6 fish total, we weighed in about 16.5 pounds of fish!
Savannah caught an albino rainbow trout & thought it was so cool that hers was orange and pink. It was a pretty neat looking fish. She didn't want to hold it for the picture, though she was touching them and poking the eyes while we processed the meat.
