A wonderful Labor Day!

I got to hold my baby for the first time yesterday! It was amazing! She is so tiny! You can see how light her hair is in this picture. I loved feeling her breathing & moving against me. They also finished with the photo therapy yesterday, so they removed the big ski mask & we could see her face a lot better. She hasn't opened her eyes yet, but you can see her moving them under her eyelids. She is quite expressive when she decides to be! Anyway, just wanted to share my happy news!

Dear Caitlin,

I don't know you but I wanted to post a comment on your blog. You see, I was born 13 weeks early,... 26 years ago. As I was reading a post on a different blog, I was touched by the heading on yet another blog, (Whipple Troupe) that read, "because I know prayers work...even from strangers." I linked in and got a brief telling of your sweet baby Sharon's story. My eyes are filled with tears as I write this, as well, there is a smile on my face and I want to give you a big hug and let you know that I believe that God does grant us sweet miracles and I will be praying for yours.

My love,

(don't mind the name header "Dane" it is my husbands name." :o)
